Type Locality and Naming

Lithology and Thickness
Clayey limestone. Comprises grey to pink massive limestone and thinly bedded calcareous shale. Over 920 m.

Morgo Formation overlies the Chhongtash Fm (Carboniferous-Permian)
Upper contact
It overlain by the Burtsa Fm (Upper Triassic-Lower Cretaceous).
